RUNNING IN CIRCLES

While we were at the convention this weekend, my two old wanted to get out and roam around, so I followed him for a bit. We went into one room which had been opened up to connected with other rooms to form the big room for the big events of the evening. He really seemed to like the mulitple doors... THEY DID ENJOY THEIR FIRST HAUNTED HOUSE

All went well with taking our sons to their first haunted house. I would recommend taking kids to such lights on tours if any are out there where you live. The idea was great and the presentation made sense. Basically we had a tour with all of the light on and most of the stuff turned off so it... Sign in to see full entry.

GOING TO THEIR FIRST HAUNTED HOUSE TODAY

My five year old had talked about wanting to go to a haunted house this year. I loved the idea, but of course we did not want to do one that was really scary and so I started to look into what was in the area. None of them sounded like they would be at his level. Then I found one not too far form... Sign in to see full entry.

THE BOYS MISSED EACH OTHER

One thing I am very, very proud of with my boys is just how close they are. Sure they have times where they have little fights and such, but on the whole they are really close and get along great. This weekend with out five year old away our two year was missing him. Even though it was not even two... Sign in to see full entry.

MY SON IS GONE

Right now my five year old son is spending the weekend with my parents. We spent the morning with my mom and she kept him with her. It is not unusual for them to take him over night and such. They really do enjoy spending time with him. But this will be the first time they have kept him for a full... Sign in to see full entry.

THE LITTLE GUY HAS HAD A ROUGH DAY

Out two year old (I keep wanting to call him three for some reason) was sick today, real sick. He had a high temp and was not doing too good for the most part. Although you could tell that the medicine kicked in as he got active and happy and then crashed for a few hours until he woke up hurting... Sign in to see full entry.

THE INSIDE OF THE HOUSE IS DECORATED

We had a lot of fun here last night putting up the Halloween decorations. My five year was really excited about it all. he was helping as much as he could and I let him make a few of the decision as to where things go. He very much understands the idea of letting yourself be scared for fun. He knows... Sign in to see full entry.

THIS JOHN GUY, THE STRANGER NEXT DOOR

Sunday evening, when we have our friends over for our weekly gaming my five old want out back to play with the other kids we had over. This is normally the best way to keep them occupied. They have freedom to roam the backyard as they please and we can keep an eye on them from the inside. Now my son... Sign in to see full entry.

HE LEARNED ON HIS OWN TO USE THE VCR

To show us just how independent he is our two year old basically taught himself how to use the VCR. It all started when he got a Bob the Builder tape. He had some before that, but somehow this is the one that got him wanting to watch it all the time. Suddenly he just started to wake up on his own in... Sign in to see full entry.

IT'S MAGIC

The other night I figured I would do something fun and show my five year old a few magic tricks. I can doa few. I really am just not good at the ones that really need slight of hand. I was doing a trick where I make a large wooden die move from box to box and then appear elsewhere. I was making it... Sign in to see full entry.
