Problems with the Word, 'Love'
Part of our difficulty with the last statement of my last post is the use of the word, 'love'. We have so many definitions of it and some many levels and layers of meaning. When I used the term in that sentance, I was pointing to the kind of love that is possessive and self-enhancing. Truth is, that kind of love is based on fear; fear 'that I am not enough', fear 'that I won't get enough'. Thus, when we rise above fear, we also rise above that kind of love.
