Fireflies and Snowflakes

Fond memories of years gone by of hula hoops and lullabies, days that seemed to never end, dressing dolls and playing pretend. Playing hide and seek in abandoned lots, sneaking into movies hoping not to get caught. A sincere apology to the ‘nerds’ on the block, sorry my friends if it was you we did mock. When summer nights were spent patiently crouched on our knees to catch magnificent fireflies, sneak up on them, take them by surprise, put them into a mayonnaise jar, laughing and watching them...
