Yes, he announced it and he is officially running for the office of President of the United States. I need to look at his platform. I did not like the Green Platform when he ran for them, so I'll see if it has changed since he is now running independent of any party. He may get my vote, although, if the libertarians get a decent candidate, I will probably vote for them. Anyhow, a new twist to the race and it gets more interesting daily...... Apparently this is in the international press, although our military leadership denies it is true. The story is we have him surrounded, trapped, and know exactly where he is. Seems as if Kerry is railroading into the Democratic hot seat for November's election. Is he just a shill? I think so; I think that for some reason we are not being told, that the Democrats either want to lose or feel they have no chance to win in NOvember, so they are throwing Kerry to the wolves.
