Saw the Optometrist

I went to the optometrist yesterday to get fitted for contacts. The reason for making the switch to contacts is that they offer the best chance to correct the double vision that I am experiencing. Contacts

Two months ago I blogged that despite having sensitive eyes that I would wear contacts if push ever came to shove. Well, push has now come to shove. Messageboard Decline

America Online's sports messageboard used to be super busy messageboards. To me it felt like there was a post being made every five minutes. Nowadays most of AOL's messageboards are dead. Big and Small

I am amazed at how large televisions have gotten during my lifetime. Televisions have gotten bigger and bigger with advertisements extolling the virtues of the zillion-inch screen television. In 2014 the Super Bowl will be played in New York, the first time that I know of where the game will be played in a cold weather city that has an outdoor stadium.
