Will You Notice-11-20-08/10:22pm

My bags are packed and sitting by the front door, In a few minutes I'll take them downstairs, Then I'll be leaving and I won't be back no more. I watch you sitting on the sofa, No clue what's going through my head, I keep silently praying that you'll ask me where I'm going, Keep hoping you'll tell me to come back. Will you even notice that I'm leaving, Will you realize that I'm gone? Or are you so caught up in your own world, So tied up in your thoughts, So wound up in things that don't really... Just Have To Believe

The world can be a scary place... So much heartach... So much pain. Every time we turn on the t.v.... Bad news is all we can seem to find. From watching our soliers laying down their lives for a war most have forgotten the reason for... To people here losing their homes and jobs. It's hard to see the silver lining when the clouds seem so dark... Hope is nothing more to most than a fanasty... Faith has left most people's heart. I can see the light... Silence is screaming at me It won't allow even a moment's rest. Reminding me of all my failures, Each time I have strayed from the path I was meant to travel, Leaving me trembling from the pity for myself. Not looking for a way to rise above it, I seem to only dwell on the sorrow within. Embracing life's pain that seeps from my pores, Making up excuses instead of looking for another way, Always looking for another to shoulder the mistakes I have made. Licked by the tip of the amber tongue before it slips back into it's dark plastic home, Slowly engulfed to ashes as it brings bittersweet pleasure to the mass of flesh on the other end. Like all great loves before it... It inflicts sweet pain to it's tempoary owner. Never to be tamed, Never allowing another to own... It's damage left unseen til it's too late.
