OK, I got inspired and sent the President an email. Here is the initial response I received: Your are receiving this message because we are having a problem processing your confirmation. Either the e-mail address from which you confirmed is not the same as the address that you entered on the www.whitehouse.gov request form or you did not return the correct ID in your confirmation's subject.
