I Lit the Incense

I Lit the Incense I lit the incense, your gift to me, beginning morning prayers. I sought for patience, amidst your fears, that Wisdom might prevail. I wondered how you chose fear over Love and why; Knowing you walk a Perfect Path. I lit a candle to our blessing, and focused on the breath. “ Suban Allah” Shams blessed the world in death. In Your Garden Walking alone in your garden I knew the presence of peace. You co-created that. The flowers spoke volumes on love; The vegetables sang a harmonic chorus. You co-created that.
