tHE pOWER OF pRAYER bEADS
The Power of Prayer Beads I did not grow up with the Rosary. Never saw a set of prayer beads till I traveled the globe as a college frosh. I recall the Greek old men with their 'worry beads'. I saw buddhists, catholics, muslims, hindus deftly pushing beads, lips betraying inner prayers. Now I daily pray with beads of my own. My beads are now overflowing with Baraka (blessings). A Retired Priest Goes to Church When I retired, I stopped going to church. I did not stop worshipping The Almighty. In fact, I met the Sufis. My spiritual walk deepened. I accepted ordination asa Sufi Minister of Universal Worship. I added dancing and singing to my praise repertoire. Now, I am old; I have returned to church as a Sufi/Episcopal Mystic.
