Higher Selves
Higher Selves I still connect with Thee whenever I offer tobacco prayers. Sometimes I have a conversation with your Higher Self. Mostly I give thanks that we connected for awhile. Sometimes we talk; I tell of my failings. Mostly I tell of my Heart's Desires: To write a poem that enlightens. To say a phrase that dissolves fear. To see you smile at me. To hear you call whether by spirit or flesh. Oh, brokenhearted Goddess, I hail your journey. © 2008 Shems
