What IS This Joyful Hunger? It grips me, if only for a moment, hardly long enough to discern. This is not a new feeling, but it returns so frequently now, that I recognize it in the past, where in the moment, I was youth-blind and thought it, something else. Anxiety, recognized as excitement, is healing. I quit trying to name this feeling. It is like a hollow hunger, Painful in the extreme, Yet, it feels damned good!
