The Power of Prayer Beads I did not grow up with the Rosary. Never saw a set of prayer beads till I traveled the globe as a college frosh. I recall the Greek old men with their 'worry beads'. I saw buddhists, catholics, muslims, hindus deftly pushing beads, lips betraying inner prayers. Now I daily pray with beads of my own. My beads are now overflowing with Baraka (blessings).
