Recurring Dream
Recurring Dream Shams has a recurring dream. As a retired Episcopal priest, I am asked to fill in at a service. It is always last minute. I don't have the proper robes. I cannot find a prayer book. Still, in my dream, I keep trying to pull it off. Finally, I awaken, and ponder the meaning. Shams knows this: What God inspires, God enables. God asks merely that we show up.
