A Rumi Inspired Poem I come to Life's Buffet A Begger with ravenous hunger; A patientless guest at the banquet Of Life and Truth. "Oh, you pious ones, Pray over this food!" "As for Shams, let my tastebuds Offer my prayer! Let my stomach say, Amen!" "Oh, you proper guests, Let proper protocall Shine forth in properness. Just let me eat!"
