I am one of those old fashioned types who dislikes using that cold, impersonal word "relationship" instead of "courtship", "romance" or "marriage". What is the First step: Embracing Differences or knowing God is Love?

The problem is getting people to accept, let alone embrace differences. In Christianity, we have, of course, St. Peter's famous declaration in Acts10:34-35, but such sentiments are sadly rare in the annals of religion. I am well aware that many religious sects, major and minor, have become, as the Muslims may phrase it, "Houses of Pride and Power" rather than "Houses of Love". War, Ego and God

This is an extended comment on Ash Pradhan's poem "War" where it is suggested that by foregoing ego one might end the war in Iraq.
