Fool's Spring

Fool's Spring The snow has all melted and the sun’s rays are warm Clouds dance by without leaving a storm The robin is heralding the day with a song and buds are breaking from trees in a throng I take up my hoe and turn up the soil lay down my seeds with fervent joy So soon came Spring two crops shall I field When June comes along I’ll have a bounteous yield February sun was warm and bright my crops sprouted and grew upright March came in with a Lions roar frost and snow have taken their toll No...
