I live in the Washington, DC area and the cost of housing around here is high. Right now, a one-bedroom condo is about $200K plus. An average Joe will need a pretty sizeable income to qualify for that a mortgage that large. Unless he has a large downpayment saved up. I figure if I was earning $100K... Sign in to see full entry.

A job recruiter took a look at my resume this week. And she noticed a gap in between jobs. She emailed today to ask me what I did in between 2004 and 2005, so I gave this reply: Hi Katie, Let's see, what I did between 2004 and 2005...it's a great story actually. It's so puffed up, yet so vulnerable, the male ego. I just learned that, as a woman, I have the power to crush his ego with my words. I've been toying with the idea of moving to South Carolina. I currently live in Maryland where I cannot even afford to buy a condo in a bad neighborhood, let alone a decent one.
