The second day at Warrnambool

The second day of our little Warrnambool jaunt has been great. In the morning we went out to the Whale platform but did not see whales. Nir and I, along with about a dozen other people, waited and watched and waited to spot a dorsal fin or two or a tail flipping out of the water or even a blow hole burst of water. Then we went down to the river cruises wharf to see if we could catch a boat to the islands to see some seals. No luck as there were only a few seagulls waiting in the drizzle to see... Warrnambool - the first Night!

Well we arrived at Warrnambool. Nir was alive and un-strangled. I had to keep up a refrain of ‘Keep the sash over your shoulder. Put it back. KEEP THAT SHOULDER SASH ON!’ He kept taking it off and just having the lap sash. Children need to keep both sashes on. In a crash (G-d Forbid) it can make the difference between severe injury and minor injury for a child. So I was a nag. Many parents are because the last thing we want is an injured child.
