What is APRAXIA?
I had an appointment with a renowned specialist in communication challenges on Friday. We have another session booked as she is assessing my son. She believes that it is possible that my son has a form of Apraxia which means my decision to pull him out of the special school was correct. It is all too easy to make assumptions and jump to conclusions about a child's ability or lack of or developmental delay.
