Amazingly, I have seen special news shows that featured interviews with people from several different generations. People who grew up during the Depression and WWII feel those times were extremely tough. People who lived in the '50's and '60's during the Cold War thought those times were tough. In the '70's there were gas shortages, and the prices of everything tripled. People thought those times were tough!
