SO LONG WITHOUT RAIN EVEN OUR SLEEP WAS RESTLESS~AT LAST REST
It finally rained and all the world is about to sleep for awhile. We have been restless with heat and dry parched air. It felt brittle as fresh ice over a spiderweb outlined for breaking. Nothing to breathe but the dust off the hard dry earth. Now even the lake is drinking in fresh layers of water. Birds fly again and all is well in my day. Sign in to see full entry.
