Yesterday was Diwali, the Festival of Lights. Diwali spells lights, sweets, exchange of gifts, family get togethers and fire crackers. This was part of the eating meditation, in which we collected our two savory snacks with mint chutney, a cup of tea in a mud cup and an apple. We sat on the floor in the outdoors (the dew seeping into the mat and... Sign in to see full entry.

Thoughts on the financial crisis

The first and last stock I bought was earlier this year. And the total value of this was Rs. 5000, almost US $100. My father bought stocks and shares, and other members of my family do. I have friends who have investments running into three, four and five figures. But, I have never been interested... Sign in to see full entry.
