This part of Tennessee has at least one thing going for it: Jack Daniel's. Close to 150 year ago, Jack started running his fine brew through charcoal, storing it for an indeterminate amount of time (left to tasters) in charred oak barrels and letting it mellow until it was good enough for drinking....
