Actress Janet Blair has died of complications of pneumonia, at age 85, on Monday, February 19, 2007. Apparently, Ms. Blair languished in B-movie roles until she landed the title role in the movie My Sister Eileen, at the behest of fellow actress Rosalind Russell. Her career took off from there.
