Cleaning up and metaphors
It has been a lovely late spring day with breezes in the treeses and some nice arrivals on the front porch: two new yarns, and a lovely ginkgo patterned blanket that was sent to me as Mom's Day tribute. It's already on my bed, and one of the yarn skeins is already a ball. It's two balls, actually. As I was rolling it, exercising the required patience to deal with its tangling well before finishing, metaphors came into my head for the process.
