The new batch!

We finally ran another freeze-dry cycle: strawberries, pineapple, apple, ground pork, ground bison, and turkey burgers. Most came out quite well, but there are notes to remember. First, pineapple has to be cut small or the outside dries before the inside, and ends up insulating the inside of the larger pieces so that after 28 hours cycling through freezing and drying, the inside is still wet.
