The big thunder storm cell that was all the worry of the local radio station and the "Weather Channel" missed us by at least 50 miles last night. It's hot here, well over 90! My dogs think someone turned the furnace up and they keep looking for relief. I think their 'relief' will come in October! While I am not going north myself, my nephew is taking one of my vehicles up. Someone was supposed to have delivered our new washing machine yesterday, but they just called and said they would get right on it... next week. A much cooler start to the day! We were about 86 yesterday afternoon and it is about 62 at about 11AM. I like the heat, but yesterday's sudden rise was uncomfortable as we hadn't had time to get used to it. I've been trying to walk about two miles a day and the cooler start to the morning made it...
