Something to think about: When all is said and done, more is said than done. Sign in to see full entry.

Despite some 'locally heavy' fog, the night was quite pleasant for December in 'da UP.' It only made it down to about 30 last night, allowing the snow to compact itself down to about eight inches deep. It also brought out the goofy skunks. Fortunately, my dogs didn't tangle with one, but my... Sign in to see full entry.

'It's a pleasant 12 degrees,' he said, sarcasm dripping from his weather chapped lips as a light 25 mph breeze blew his hat away. It's cold outside. I'm considering a run downstate tomorrow to pick up my friend, Kagan again. If the weather stays 'just cold,' I'll probably give it a shot. AOther than... Sign in to see full entry.

I completely forgot to make an entry here when I was here earlier. We picked up another 8 to 10 inches of snow that came down from about 8 AM to noon. Most of the roads are not usable. I made it down to my local 'Dollar Store,' got the few things I really 'needed needed,' and I am home for the day.... Sign in to see full entry.

As I'm writing, I'm also waiting for one of my long time broadcasters to get his show going. Sadly, that building was a victim of arson in the late 1990's It was no longer an accredited hospital but it was a nice museum of... Sign in to see full entry.

What a dork. I had this section all filled out, and the I accidentally closed the tab. Too much going on in the ol' melon I guess. It's raining/sleeting/snowing out. The temp out there is 31, making it right on the edge of being one form or another, so depending on the air swirl temp at the time,... Sign in to see full entry.

Although it doesn't show on the radar. it's snowing here. It's not going to be measured by the inch, but it will be a problem in that it is just under freezing right now. Thankfully, I don't have to go anywhere in particular until Saturday morning. I should get down to the post office, but there is... Sign in to see full entry.

I thought I slept well, but I still feel tired. I suspect it is the low temps last night. It was down to 7 degrees last night. The house remained at a steady 74, but I was 'out and about' on and off all day yesterday. I think that much like the bears, I want/need to hibernate. I'm going to start...
