The Falls!

I got a lot of photos today, but I'll post this one tonight because I love this place. This is the Tahquamenon Falls, roughly 25 miles north of my home. It was nearly empty today, and a lot of the places to view it were limited, but I still got a good shot! More tomorrow! Sign in to see full entry.

After a forty-five minute conversation with my attorney, we decided to proceed into the courtroom. While the UP is finally free of dictates to stay home and rot, the court system is now backed up for months. As long as the judge realizes that the statute of limitations is waived on this, I'm good.... Sign in to see full entry.

Interesting day today over at the Seney National Wildlife Refuge that is about twenty-five miles almost due west of me. We (Kagan and I) saw a lot of unusual birds, but with the season just opening over there, the creatures aren't used to people staring at them yet. The park ranger told me that the... If I Could Talk

I have a dog who is rapidly approaching 'end of program' in computer speak. She has been with me for 15 years now. Her time is rapidly approaching. She no longer can run with her 2 house-mates but she still wants to go out & play. She can't run anymore but she enjoys the air and the time together.... Sign in to see full entry.

I guess all of the tramping around I did yesterday did its number on me. I went to bed about midnight, and I don't recall moving until 9AM. I think I earned that sleep. If the weather holds, we are going to run 25 miles west over to Seney to the wildlife refuge or to Grand Marais due north of me on... Sign in to see full entry.

Busy day despite the rain. Tomorrow is scheduled to be better. We'll see. My original plan was to stay inside and write, but we went walking along the Whitefish Bay Point for about 90 minutes. The breeze coming in off Mama Superior made it a lot colder than the bank thermometer was telling me it... Sign in to see full entry.

Off to a sluggish start today, but at least it is a start. It appears that despite an occasional afternoon low in the mid 50's, it is finally beginning to be spring here. My back yard is almost completely green, and the squirrels are in a high mood. When I bought this place, it had several... Sign in to see full entry.

It's just beginning to sprinkle here with a decent sized storm to follow. It's all good as me and my dogs have been out tramping the forest and savannas. They are are tired and content, and I am ecstatic at some of the eagle photos I got! There must have been a convention in the forest edges as I... Sign in to see full entry.

Spring might actually have arrived here in Yooperville. It's nice out, but it looks like we will get a moderate rain storm sometime after six PM. We can use it. The house is almost quiet. Kagan is in his room, strumming on one of his five guitars here. He is quite good with it, and it provides a... Sign in to see full entry.

A wonderful day here in God's country. Almost 60, sunny, and just a delightful day. I got home in time to whip out another 975 word entry in 'Interdimensional,' and still have time to take a quick shower and watch Live PD. Versus last week, I'm feeling good, writing happily, and smiling more because... Sign in to see full entry.
