Banded Canadian Goose

There was a huge refuge area about twenty miles from our home in Newberry in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The DNR set up multiple plots to encourage various types of birds to increase their numbers by giving them safe harbor. It was a wonderful place to be if you loved wildlife as I do. This... Blue Jay!

Snow Owl At Rest

Just Chillin'

After a heavy snowstorm, I found these two young eagles sitting in the tree. Before you think, 'Awwww, they're scared or snowed in,' what they're actually doing is hunting.
