This is what I did out at Pima College this week.
Go HERE I put on a presentation out at our Community College, organized by Elva Flores of our Centro Cultural, built an altar for Day of the Dead, watched some lovely children dance Ballet Folklorico, gave them my camera for awhile, so some of these photos are theirs and not mine, ate some Day of the Dead bread (cut up in small cinnamony pieces for the uninitiated)and drank some hot 'atole' (hot chocolate). Forrest Gump explains Mortgaged Backed Securities
Visualize a puzzled Forrest with a box of chocolates on his lap and speaking. "Mortgage Backed Securities are like boxes of chocolates. Criminals on Wall Street stole a few chocolates from the boxes and replaced them with turds. Their criminal buddies at Standard & Poors rated these boxes AAA Investment Grade chocolates. These boxes were then sold all over the world to investors. Eventually somebody bites into a turd and discovers the crime. Suddenly nobody trusts American chocolates anymore...

I googled green sites all morning for the Green Festival in 2 wks.
I was trying to find something to pass out to families, for those who might not know of green sites, etc. This is what I found, two pages of links to print out and hand out..... People who want to go green should visit these sites online The idea is to know what 'greenwashing' is as it was asked on the application for a booth in the festival. Have my rolling suitcase packed with aprons, paints, brushes.
I am off for an afternoon of face painting for the ObamaFEST here in Tucson. I will take my two signs showing what I am willing to face paint. I am also taking bubbles to blow. I tell a child who fidgets most in line to please help me.I say, " I am stressed and the only thing that makes me feel better is to have bubbles floating in the air around me." They blow them and I truly do feel happier and less stressed. Symbiotic relationship. I also take bubbles to bank lines, etc. to help myself out...

Saturday is the ObamaFEST at Armory Park here in Tucson.
I will paint faces and am sticking to only 8 designs....to stop the madness of little kiddies' choices. Can you put Harry Potter on a stick, flying and his friend next to him? Can you put Ariel under the ocean with lots of fishies? I want a princess with a crown and a sceptre and bows and pearls and and and..... I will do various Obamas, a Democrat donkey, a flag, an Obama logo, a peace dove flying, a yin yan Obama thingie and that's about it....I'm only taking red, white and blue paints to keep...

New Chicano neighbors with four dogs, good.
Guesthouse still empty, eight houses next door running back down a little road next to my house are all empty. Bummer. Crashed mid construction renovation. Boarded up now. I went to the doctor's office and she agreed to do some kidney testing and blood testing and has ordered a referral to a kidney specialist for me. Finally, two years later. Then, I had breakfast with my good friend, an inattentive woman who drives me mad...dearly loved by me, anyway. Where shall we meet? She said Mingus. What?...

Senator Bernie Sanders Economic Plan
Here is my economic plan. It has exactly one part and it goes like this; 1. Remove the current tax breaks for Big Oil and Big Coal and transfer them to renewable energy like wind and solar. This would create incentives for domestic companies and would provide tens or even hundreds of thousands of new jobs in America. At the same time, we would stem the flow of the current $2 billion per DAY that we ship overseas for foreign oil. Imagine if we spent $2 billion a day INSIDE our own borders?...
