Why do dogs have to pee on newly growing grasslings????

There is a enormous yard for them to pee in. They have peed all over it, everywhere for years and the grass is new this year. Why oh why must they try to kill it? Is it more fun or luxurious to pee on grass? Now, I have to water right after they pee to dilute it, trying to keep it from turning the... Sign in to see full entry.

I have discovered my back yard swing and dog television.

When I tire of work, I now go sit outside in the back garden and swing back and forth, eating sunflower seeds. The swing has been here for over a year and I have rarely used it. My daughter gave it to me. It is about the size of a large sofa, holding three plus adults. The dogs jump up and join me... Sign in to see full entry.

BEEEEEE gone...fer sure, fer sure. NOT.

He came this a.m. at about 6:30 and said, at about 9 a.m. that he carted away a three hundred pound honey comb and I photo'd it until one last bee came dive bombing at my head over and over while I swatted at it, kamikazee and loaded for bear. Later I tiptoed into the back garden and saw nothing... Sign in to see full entry.

Baby is allergic to bees stings. She gets a baby hippo face fast.

I have liquid Benadryl here for saving her, my idiot daughter dog, but her previous encounters have been just one bee biting her mouth when she tries to eat him. She still chases bees today. We have a hive in the back storage shed. The bee man said that there is about a one hundred to two hundred... Sign in to see full entry.

Life without dogs would be so very, very, very simple, I think.

Baby has been attacking the other two dogs, about twice a week, more as they are all locked inside too much. Autumn lives totally hidden and I hardly know that she lives here. Mosinha, being young, pokes the tiger often and doesn't get attacked as much. Mosinha, the escape dog, had me going crazy... Sign in to see full entry.

Wire haired terriers sweep up burrs with their coats. She escaped.

Mosinha escaped when I went to turn off the hose and took my eyes off of her for just a minute. She jumped the wall and I grabbed the stinky liver treats and leash and followed her onto the street. My neighbor, who helped me before, saq us and called his dog into the front garden. His boy attracts... Sign in to see full entry.

I am getting fast and grabbing Mosinha's tail before she jumps.

I pull her backwards down off the wall and into the bamboo forest, much to her surprise and then pull her into my arms and tell her to go inside as she has blown her free time once again. I am learning to read her face as she comtemplates the end run. Bad dog. Baby just wants to play soccer the... Sign in to see full entry.

Got a mousie served to me for breakfast.

I woke up this a.m. and stepped down onto the floor, and thank goodness I sleep in socks. My toes felt and tried not to crush something soft beneath them. They did a Warner Bros. cartoon, rigid lift into the air to avoid what they believed to be something that should not be under them. The EAK A... Sign in to see full entry.

Still training Mosinha to act upon hearing the words Hot Dog.

Once a day, I pull out the package and hold it up, saying its name and then giving everyone a small piece of hot dog to wolf down. This training has helped, for when she escapes now, she comes right to me, the minute that she sees me on the street and hears me say, "Hot dog!" I have stood at the... Sign in to see full entry.

The 700 or so rescued animals all found homes within seven days.

The puppy and bird mill was busted and you all heard about it, I'm sure. I prayed fervently for homes for all the animals, even the ones who were ill. My sister prayed for real and decent adoptions. The animals are so valuable, that my sister feared that other stupid people would adopt and breed and... Sign in to see full entry.
