Oh I know. Hawks and bob cats and pumas and all need to eat, too, but they are moving into neighborhoods and taking precious pets and that makes me sad.
I Like that he is on a leash.
I tell everyone that in America now, in towns, you must keep kitties inside. If you live in the foothills here in Tucson and release your cats outside or leave your chihuahua in the garden alone, you are feeding the wild animals purposefully.
Animals make the best of friends for us.

than an animal The hawk circles outside......and Mr. G .must get his fresh air on the lead or in his cage. Squirrels and Chipmunks are way too smart but we used to have lovely rabbits.

majroj, I sure hope so. She knew that she couldn't do it, but let it go on much too long. He thought that he was mine, poor baby.
You could creep up on me; my new medication has my ears ringing like a runway on the air base.

dsm_tchr, I was taught to adore animals in my childhood. Uncle Remus stories, The Wind in the Willows, Old Mother West Wind, Lassie, Black Beauty, etc, etc.....didn't have a chance to be otherwise.
