Re: I have to agree with Kabu in this..
orcalion, the weather has been temporarily sweeter and there were actually sweet breezes coming in my nighttime open windows. Lovely, birds singing and everything turning a fast green, as desert things do. Short cycles of joy and of wet.

Re: that sort of heat I left behind in Australia.......poor doggies...poor you.

Kabu, Three days of rains off and on, cooler 90 degree Fahrenheit temps and loving it. The dogs are so happy and love that they can now actually dig in the garden. Usually we have cement like hard earth underfoot.

They are napping better now. Baby wags her tail in her sleep, which is a happy good sign of contentment. How is Australia !?!?!?!?

I have to agree with Kabu in this..
About the only thing I don't miss about Australia is the extremely hot days during summer -I'm sure in some other parts of the world it can be even worse- .. Apart from the high temperature, I wish you a nice season, Bezinha..

Re: Ever wish for a dugout?

I know maj, if there was any justice, Arizona would not allow any construction except the ancient three foot thick walled adobe places with solar on the roofs now.

There are houses here in town with only water towers on their roofs, no machines, and night time cool air saved all day and three foot thick walls. Sweet !!!

Ever wish for a dugout?
My mom told me about the old stage station she visited near Camp Verde. Three foot thick walls and never needed A/C.
