It's that time of the year with lots of bugs. Right now, we're dealing with lots of cicadas. They're everywhere where I'm at.

Four of the Great Lakes—Erie, Huron, Ontario and Superior—are split between the U.S. and Canada. (Lake Michigan is entirely in the U.S.) Until 2017, American boaters did indeed need to be ...

We've had 6 inches of rain this morning and it's expected to give us 5-7 inches more!

Do you have those tiny little biting black flies that can go right through mosquito netting? Last time I was up that way, around the Bay of Fundy, they were vicious! It was a long time ago, I was 14, I think.

Re: Good Afternoon

You have quite a bit of water around you don't you?

There was a lot of water in the mountain foothills where I grew up,

glacier-fed streams that stayed ice cold all summer long, ponds and lakes that formed in low spots - lots of trout fishermen in that area, and some rivers that were where salmon returned every year to spawn, much like Canada and Alaska. We also had mosquitoes in abundance.

Good Afternoon

Kabu, I had no idea you had so much water around you.  There is no wonder you have mosquitos.  I had asked Sea Gypsy why they had so many rats in their city and she told me rats love Palm trees.  I learn something new on Blogit every day. Sassy is always teaching me something new.
