Oh my dear ... because of my absence throughout this pesky lockdown I had no idea you had lost your beloved Wiley.  I think you are wise to stay where you are, where you have such happy memories.

Kabu

You still have a wide world.

I believe you'll be able to go back there and visit one day again once the virus dies down. I like to think we're turning the corner.

I know what you mean about not going back to live. We change and they change and most of the time not in the same direction.

Good Evening!

Kabu, I loved your post.  I'm so pleased that you have thought about all the different places that you can go to be happy.  I really hope that you can stay close to Trish.  I feel like the two of you are made from the same mold.  I think you both really understand each other and in this world that is priceless.  Do you want to move to the city or the countryside?  I think it has to be somewhere where your gnomes and fairies are happy!  I wish you the very best in the whole world!

You will go to see you family in Australia again, I feel. And to live in Canada or the US if you so choose seems to be where your heart lies, so that is where you must be. I would truly love to meet you and if ever you are in the West, in California, wouldn't it be great to share a cuppa or a glass-a?

Good afternoon

Home is where the heart remains, but as humans, we are great at adapting to foreign soil. You are always welcome to knock on my door if you are ever this way. Pittsburgh isn't as cold as your neck of the woods, and I do have a fairy garden that your gnomes may like to visit.

Home is where the heart is. I, too, am thankful to be able to keep up

with grandkids & great grandkids online. Makes up for all the negatives, in my view.
