I am glad you didn't suffer any side effects from it.

Good job perhaps we may have to get used to this in future. I hope not but everything spreads so quickly these days.

Me, too. Got my first jab. Son Rusty insisted on driving me, even
though I know where the place is. It will be good to have the process done - as my daughter says, to be able to hug again.

16 weeks sounds too long, but I suppose they know what they're doing - the guidance here is up to 12 weeks for Pfizer/BioNTech or Oxford/AstraZeneca and even that was criticized initally. My first one was 10th February, so expecting a second one early in May. The idea here was to get as many adults as possible vaccinated once, and then return to giving the second dose once that was done - an amazing effort!

P.D., Phil and I went together yesterday to get our first. Phil wasn't a bit happy when he saw what it was and P.D. had to hold him down as he was fighting like a banshee. Today my arm was very tender from shoulder to elbow but it has gotten better as the day rolled by. We got Phyzer and our second is scheduled for three weeks. I'm glad it is half over. Perhaps soon Phil will be able to go back to school. He still refuses to wear a mask.

Kabu - Congratulations, dear! That's wonderful news.
So happy you got your shot and are doing well! It's wonderful that it went well and that Trish was able to take you there. Here they schedule the second one when you get the first one. I hope you can schedule your second one easily. That is, unless you got Johnson and Johnson, in which case you are done! Take care, sweet lady.

This is great news. Thanks for sharing the process.
16 weeks is a long time, but so far we have all made it through a year and a half of this hell on earth, so another few weeks should be a piece of cake.
