Looking good!

Over the years: I've won a Van, a computer, carpetting, a family tent, back packing equipment,  A Family Trip to Sea World, shopping sprees,  and even some Big Macs and fries...it always been a surprise. Most of the contests cost me nothing and some sweepstakes, I didn't  even enter my name...someone else did.

I've only bought a few lottery tickets, here and there and I never won a penny. The times I have won, has been when I was just trusting in God and not luck .

God always provides. My quess is the winning number that you want, is already yours...

Gambling, uncertainty, excitement.....
This is a very interesting subject. Some Eastern religions (Hindu, Taoist and others) think that this is the very reason God created (or became) the universe. Omnipotence is very boring, so God somehow transformed himself into the physical universe and all the living things in it. Give those living things free will, and all sorts of unexpected, exciting things will happen. This keeps the God/Universe usefully occupied, exploring life in all its variations. I wrote a philosophical post about this, "Certainty VS. Uncertainty" in my blog The Agnostics Primer but if you go there you will have to scroll down to find the tenth post "Certainty VS. Uncertainty."

I think there is nothing wrong with gambling, as long as you realize most of it is rigged against you, with long odds of millions to one, in the case of the lottery. Also, you should never gamble the grocery money (but far too many people do). I prefer the various types of poker, because anyone can be dealt that winning hand, but then you have to know what to do with it. It is a study of human nature, as well as a gambling game.

I think God threw the dice when he created Adam & Eve, don't you? This could indicate God likes to take chances Guess it depends on the interpretation.

I do know the answer to your question:   God does not get involved in gambling. It would be cheating if he did, because he always knows what's going to happen. Gambling is a game of chance. If your number comes up then you win, but normally the odds are very high for jackpots of that size.
