Actually, I wanted to have it checked in August but because of Covid didn't want to go to the doctor. I hope the January procedure fixes it.

It is great that you have this under control.
That scraping part sounds scary but obviously necessary. Luckily, they caught it in time. Cancer is nothing to play around with. Like you, I am unable to get a normal shoe on my foot due to the swelling and pain. I have been wearing a slipper now since November 30th.
