It has been a rainy weekend here in Maryland. We are still waiting for our first flakes to arrive. We might get snow showers late Tuesday, early Wednesday.

Funny thing, maybe it's a post Christmas response or winter setting in

but I've found myself fascinated by those true-crime documentaries for the past couple of weeks - who-done-its and police procedurals, how they work to find motives and links where there apparently are none... As for that photo you included of a bedraggled and befuddled owl - I see a creature that looks just like that any time I look in a mirror.  LOL

I am glad that you both are keeping in the warm. I would like to make a good comment. Am I the only one in the world who bought a new telivision and have not watched it for 6 months? I have not really worked out how to operate the darn thing.

If you and Wiley have not seen the Netflix movie, "Bernie" you need to do that.  It's about an East Texas murderer (true life) who was so bizar you won't believe it.  People loved him even after they found out he killed an old woman and put her body in a freezer and lived there for nine months pretending she was alive and he was taking care of her..

Kabu

I haven't watched it because of all the stuff that has come out about the how the whole family had a lot of issues not shown, evidence the producers didn't show...in other words, it appears that not only were there bad cops involved, but the directors of the series are having their own hands slapped.....it's just a nasty scene all the way around.  I'm started a new series on ABC last night, Jennifer Lopez's "Shades of Blue" that looks to be about the gray line supposedly walked by many cops...it was really good.

I watched the "Making of A Murderer" from start to finish. I didn't intend to do that but I found it so captivating, I had to watch. I had to know what came next. They buffaloed those guys. If you stab someone and slit their throat, you are gonna have blood all over the place. As a paramedic, I saw a few too many murder scenes, and you just don't find a scene without blood all over, especially as the state said it happened.

"The Jinx" is on HBO Now, a service you can get for $15 a month and watch on your Roku, Apple TV, and other devices. That dude was a classic dual personality from the word go. The last five minutes of the last chapter of the series proves it

Keep warm over there, you two!  We're to have bad weather from tonight well into tomorrow night.  I refuse to watch MAKING A MURDERER.
