I love the challenge some of the other bloggers give. I tried doing that once and no one took me up on it...oh well

Great Job!

Well I was writing the poem that Katray suggested no leaves or trees I can't remember the other things. Anyway you know I don't like this misty messy muddy state traipsing across the garden. Ha, ha, against all odds I forecast a mild winter here, the pundits say it will be very, no extremely cold.

So different from most of the fall poems

in such a fascinating way.

Well Kat keep in the warm, I keep plodding about outside, but there is no need for it.

Mother earth won't let us down. We may let her down but each year she renews life. Tis the time now for sleep. One of your really really wonderful poems.

Song of the Seed...?

Dropped on the earth to germinate up through the soil, to reach for light, to stand and bear the seasons passing, and the temporary deaths of winter...

Feels though the sun is abandoning us too...

really chilly here today, so this most graceful, poignant poem of yours makes me shiver in the absence.
