Sounds like such a cruel place, reminds me of stories of western Canada during the summers in the 30's.So very well written, like all your writing it really affects my emotions as you can see my love.

Kabu...I would take a summer full of cooler days like this...
But I hear the temps are expected to get into the 90's next week...it will be an indoor week for me if that's true..

Yes, a day of rest is good once in a while. And I have seen early 20th century photos of people at the beach with those 'swimsuits' on. They all looked extremely uncomfortable! And I'll bet the water was much cleaner back then too . . .

It seems like you are always resting Kabu. I think a hammock would be nice strung between trees. But I suppose you would be bitten by some bug or other. I wonder if in time they will be able to grow modified crops that are fire resistant , that would be a good idea, don't you think. I can imagine those poor men watching their livelihood going up in smoke. It has always been the opposite here crops rotting in the rain at harvest time. Not so bad now though as the machines can nip in on a fine day and make hay while the sun shines. Oh! sorry you have fallen asleep.

It is interesting to read about how the weather was where you lived in Austrailia. For us, in Maryland, we get about 42 inches of precipitation spread evenly throughout the year.
