I rather enjoy the wild life .. we have cheeky squirrels digging up tulip bulbs from the tubs on the patio, deer nibbling at people's flowers, rabbits doing the same, and badgers setting off security lights at night when they go foraging... and my daughter in London has a resident fox in her garden which disturbs her at night with its snoring!

Well I could see that was a hare not a mad March Hare because it would probably have been fighting another buck. Yes my uncle went to Australia he thought he would have a grand time shooting rabbits . He should have stayed in his little shop sunning himself on the front step.

He must be feeling quite comfortable to lie down with you there
in camera distance. I spotted a baby bunny when the fence guy was here the other day taking measurements. Now I know first-hand what "quick like a bunny" means.

Do they still have the rabbit fence in Australia, and does it do any good for any purpose?

I wonder if he is an Arctic Hare.
You know what they call 50,000 rabbits backing up across Australia?
A receding hare-line.

A nice photo you snapped of the rabbits...I have a lot of rabbits in my neighborhood. They do a whole lot of hopping.
