I'm getting the Oriental symbol for 'Strength' on my left, upper-arm(my birth mama has one, just like it, except on her right, upper-arm) and a Gothic, gold heart on the inside of my right ankle, when I turn eighteen...

I designed my own...and I love it.
It's a pentacle with a triple moon below it. It encompasses everything I believe in. The elemental star, the circle of continuing life, and the triple moon representing the maiden, mother and crone of a woman's life.

Interesting...
...ideas. And 8 laid on it's side is the infinity sign.

Like the ring of fire. Though that phrase has specific connotations in the UK. it's what you get the morning after a very hot curry.

I don't like 666 - the number of the beast.
But 668 is OK - tghe neighbour of the beast.

BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

EWWWW i hate 666

i hate the symbol *shudders* When I used to go through Drew's notebooks, (to see the doodles... not the occasional schoolwork...) I would cross out every 666.

Oh and the symbol I want, maybe I think,

I am thinking about putting my birthnumber on my left ankle. (8) I'm thinking putting 2 8's interlocked because not only does 12-8-86 add out to 8, but my birthday is the 8th, my born personality number. MAYBE with a ring of fire around my ankle.... I'm a fire sign.

A Tattoo

Should be something you thing long and hard about.  Design your own if you can since it will be completely original and something you can be really proud of.

I have two tattoos, and I must say that the one that I thought about for 3 years before actually getting it and designing it myself is the tattoo I am happier to have.  And the next one I get will be one of my own (well, in collaboration with my bf) making--astrology signs along with a Celtic symbol.

No ideas...
...right now, but do be careful. The energy of the symbol you choose will be part of you for the rest of your life.

So get a yin and yang by all means. But avoid a 666. (Extremes used for illustration purposes only ;-))
