Here is what I believe. From what I have heard from employees, the ownership treats them poorly and has unrealistic expectations. From that information, I infer that the ownership looks down at their employees and sees them as replaceable. I imagine they are on a power trip as well. Their attitude, unrealistic expectations and not having their pulse on the business is why Allison lost her job.

Seems odd that if she was your favorite server that she got fired. Pleasing the customer is very important ...anyway I wish her well and a speedy move to a new job.

Waiting tables is hard work. It is always great to find a waiter/waitress that you like, and sad to lose them for this reason.

PS - there are mechanical car washes too of course, but you have to remove your car aerial first - which is fine by me until it gets stuck and needs some WD-40.
