I'm working on a story that has dramatic overtones with some comedic moments revolving around matters of the heart; a love outside of, but not instead of the conventional perimeter. The first poem concerns a married lady who is in love with a gentleman living in another area of the country. She is on a business road trip with her husband and wakes up in the car one morning to see they are very close to her paramour's hometown; they have driven way off the course of their trip. Her husband is behind the wheel, he knows of course and she had no idea he knew. So she is finding it impossible to quell her excitement at being so close to her "other" despite being shocked and dismayed about her husband's discovery..so he is sighing, grumbling, not speaking but glaring whilst her heart is pounding crazily. The second poem is about the imbalances of heart...:) Hope that helped some, lol.
