From what I understand, pigs are supposed to be just as smart . . . and loyal . . . as dogs! However, there's still something just not quite right about them ( I'm not sure what it is ) that would indeed make it a bit odd to have one as a pet! Oinkers? Sure, why not . . . ?

Well she could have one of those pygmy pigs, they are quite nice and if it grew up and became normal you would be set up for rashers for a long time.
