I find that rainy days tend to make me feel tired.

They use to do that all the time and I use to give bags and bags of clothes and then of course go shopping for more

Big Hearts, You Have!

I am touched by the giving natures you both have! Our World needs more like you!  I try to donate whenever I can and recycle, & etc.  Still, I have so much "junk" (as my hubby calls it).

I need to go through it all and REALLY decide what I NEED and what I can live without!

It is good that the charity comes around.  It is harder otherwise to get around to getting rid of all the extra junk.  I have driven by donate clothes or donate books bins at times and have thought about contributing. . . but I still need to take action.

Kabu

mThis afternoon I worked through a heavy rain storm. And then I went into air conditioning.I couldn’t breathe until I reached home and changed my wet clothing. You’ve mentioned dehydration. I ate for the first time since my cereal in the morning and snacks at the bus stop. However I enjoyed a pumpkin coffee but felt gas on the bus again until I reached home and ate something love. Kabu

We still have a very active Salvation Army and we give two or three times a year. It seems I will never get rid of all the stuff from businesses and I still have a lot of my mothers stuff to give. I found a goodie in it the other day I will write about it.

Out here we have an outlet called the desert industries who have many stores. There you can take what you don't want anymore but don't want to throw away either. They employ folks who need the work training and the disabled. They sell what they can and send much to disaster sites in the form of blankets and clothes. Many people shop there looking for retro clothing and the likes. I think it is a blessing for those who give that multiples in ways we will never know. Thank you for your kindness.

If you keep clearing out a bit here and a bit there, there'll be room

for new bargains and finds if the mall ever decides to sell clothes you like again...

That's a really good way to help people, and at the same time keep oneself from clutter.
