Reading about appointments reminded of a couple I came across at the eye doctor's last year. They had scheduled all of their appointments (doctor's, eye, dentist) on the same day right after one another.

I think we all feel that way when we are young. The young people at the rehab facility have the same mindset. And I know they are going to have to pay for it some day!

Well that's always good. And usually, no news is good news, even when it comes to physicals. Speaking of physicals, I'm long overdue for one . . .

My mother smoked until her doc told her she had a choice:

she could smoke or she could breathe. She quit cold turkey and suffered withdrawal for at least a year or so. I remember when we kids got up to catch the school bus how she enjoyed that first cig and coffee after her coughing spell each morning, and that she called them cancer sticks even then. So I'm glad you and the Wiley one are smoke free and enjoying the pure air of Camelot. :)

Glad to hear all is well... I think that one cigarette would be the most vile thing ever (I stopped smoking about 5 years ago and couldn't bring myself to start again).  Here I understand cigarettes are about £8 a pack.

Well I am glad you are both OK Kabu. When I think of how I carried twenty gallons of paraffin at a time to save a few minutes and bales of peat that I think are banned. Knelt on wet ground picking strawberries for hours at a time. The body has had to put up with a bit of stick. Each generation warns the next to no avail

Like automobiles, our bodies begin to deteriorate after a while. How fast that happens usually depends on the care we take of them. No darned I feel like an old crow in the mornings! Real happy that you folks had good tests!!
