I am sorry about Wiley's brother but it is good that you made the trip! There's not much one can do but a visit makes both parties appreciative even if the words are unspoken! sam

A rough day, but you did things to make it better and Wiley has the satisfaction of knowing he saw his brother and family when he was seriously ill.

Glad you are home safe. I will say prayers for your family especially your sister-in-law. Being a caretaker is very difficult. Take care.

Sweet to have someone to share the long drive.
From my perspecte, the toughest part of aging is the number of family and friends who are in poor health and spirits.

I know well of that long drive. Every year, I'd drive back to my dad's hometown with my parents for 10 hours drive. Hope you'll have a good rest!

It is a good deed done Kabu, you cannot do any more and Wiley could not have done it without you.

It is worth it for you and Wiley to travel the long miles in such an instance. I am glad you were able to visit his brother.

Sorry I haven’t been popping in routinely, Kabu. Life sometimes get in the way of my reading of other people’s blogs. Sorry to hear about Wiley’s brother. No kidding a long day – to Mtl and back! Both of you must be pooped.
